Job Summary
Conduct custom factory automation equipment assembly and fabricated assembly fabrication by reading technical drawings and interpreting design instructions. Safely complete assigned tasks independently or within a team while maintaining an organized workspace for stocked parts and equipment. Support broader manufacturing operations and occasionally travel to customer locations, including overnight trips. Work under supervision with a focus on safety, precision, and adherence to the manufacturing schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- General knowledge of and ability to use common hand and power tools such as hammers, drills, and wrenches
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and the written instructions of designers and engineers
- Capability to follow instructions precisely and take direction
- Intense focus on always ensuring a safe working environment
- Willingness to work overtime, possibly on weekends and holidays
- A strong sense of urgency and self-discipline
- Must be able to listen to, speak, read, write and understand English proficiently
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year in an industrial / manufacturing environment preferred
