Job Summary
Mechanical Assembler needed to perform precision assembly of manufactured parts using hand and power tools, lay out and align components from blueprints to exact specifications, bolt and rivet assemblies for strength, dismantle/repair products to restore functionality, and collaborate with a production team to meet quality standards. Role requires reading blueprints, operating clamps and presses, adherence to quality control, and ability to lift heavy materials (50–100 lbs or more). Typical shifts include day (7:30am–4:00pm) and night (4:00pm–12:30am) Monday–Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an assembler
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability to use tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 – 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead
- DAY SHIFT: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday
- NIGHT SHIFT: 4:00pm to 12:30am Monday through Friday
