Job Summary
Mechanical Apprentice role focusing on shop piping within a hands-on apprenticeship program. Responsibilities include assisting with installation or assembly of trade-specific materials and equipment in the shop, building, or jobsite; assisting with the setup and operation of trade-specific machinery; maintaining a clean work area and restocking supplies; participating in the company-sponsored apprenticeship program; working as part of a team; using materials and tools safely; and developing relationships with colleagues, clients, and managers. Qualifications include a high school degree or GED (or equivalent experience) preferred but not required, aptitude to learn equipment and materials, ability to receive direct supervision, flexibility in activities/location/hours, confident communication, general knowledge of trade equipment and machinery, ability to work as part of a team, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role emphasizes safety culture, hands-on training, and career development opportunities through RK University and the RK Apprenticeship Program.
