Job Summary
Bridge raw mechanical specifications and client needs by managing inbound technical inquiries via phone and email to investigate process requirements and operational challenges. Analyze client data using heat transfer, fluid flow, and thermodynamics fundamentals to engineer optimized system solutions, then leverage proprietary automated software to generate precise technical quotes and configurations. Partner with internal sales and plant engineering teams to resolve manufacturing bottlenecks and deliver value-engineered designs while maintaining meticulous project configuration files for production handoffs. Serve as the primary technical authority for custom systems within a clean, modern facility, focusing on consultative problem-solving rather than repetitive manual tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience
- 3+ years of applications or sales engineering experience
- 1+ years of heat transfer exposure
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), related technical field, or equivalent hands-on industrial trade depth
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Residence established within a comfortable daily driving radius of the Menomonee Falls, WI area
- US Citizenship or Green Card status
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized exposure to shell-and-tube, plate-and-frame, or air-cooled heat transfer equipment
- Familiarity with steam loops, boilers, chillers, or high-pressure fluid networks
- Experience working within enterprise quoting engines or CRM platforms to manage engineering proposal workflows
