Job Summary
Mechanical Antenna Engineer – Level 3 located in Dulles, VA. 100% onsite role. Responsibilities include working on Spacecraft Antenna, Feeds, OMTs, and Deployable systems; coordinating with RF team on antenna optics, reflector optimization, and procurement; writing specifications and SOWs; designing and releasing drawings for antenna deployable supports and secondary structures; procuring hardware and supporting build, integration, and testing; interfacing with customers and multiple engineering disciplines; developing test plans and procedures for component and spacecraft-level testing; performing CAD design with CREO Parametric and applying GD&T, 3D Printing, and manufacturing considerations. Basic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years or PhD with 1 year; ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance; experience with CREO Parametric CAD; cost and schedule management; willingness to obtain government clearance. Preferred qualifications: antennas-system design (UHF to V-band), deployable structures, GD&T standards, manufacturing documentation; advanced CREO proficiency; hands-on hardware fabrication.
