Job Summary
Mechanic needed for Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, FL. Responsibilities include replacing and repairing parts on heavy equipment, performing inspections to diagnose issues, conducting preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations with attention to cost and efficiency, cleaning and lubricating equipment, and performing minor welding assembly/installation as required. Requires 3-5 years of verifiable experience (CDL may be preferred), the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work in variable weather, with safety and communication as top priorities. The role offers opportunities to work across the U.S. in Walsh Group divisions and access to industry-leading training; bilingual description is provided in Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
- CDL may be required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Compliance with safety policies and procedures
