Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for maintenance and repairs of equipment including forklifts and trucks, dismantling engines for repairs, and performing preventive maintenance and inspections. Must follow supervisor guidelines, maintain clean and safe work areas, keep accurate equipment records, and assist in building maintenance tasks as needed. Requires knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures, safety compliance (DOT and other agencies), and the ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and rolling stock. Preferred: CDL and forklift certification; bilingual skills are optional. Emphasis on safety, equipment reliability, and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
