Job Summary
Perform repair work and maintenance for vessels in the fleet, including routine preventative maintenance, testing parts and systems, and troubleshooting faulty mechanical, electrical, or electronic problems. Plan and complete repairs and scheduled maintenance in a timely manner, inspect equipment, and construct or fabricate repair elements while referencing service manuals. Operate company tools and equipment, working independently or as part of a team. Work eight-hour days Monday through Friday, with occasional daily overtime and weekend requirements. Duties involve working outside in varying temperatures and weather, as well as entering confined spaces. Maintain a valid driver's license and wear required PPE including steel-toed boots, hard hats, and personal flotation devices. Two years of related experience and a vocational/technical school program are preferred.
