Job Summary
Remove decals from trailers and perform minor body work on vehicles. Execute physical tasks requiring exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, involving walking, lifting, reaching, and crouching for extended periods. Prior mechanic experience in the auto industry is a plus. This entry-level position offers starting pay of $20 to $24 per hour with medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, and free uniforms. Candidates will work on a fleet of over 2,200 tractors, 8,500 trailers, and 1,700 forklifts across the United States and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work
- Must be able to: walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time
- Must be able to exert 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to exert 50 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 20 pounds of force consistently
- Must be able to move objects
Desired Qualifications
- Prior mechanic experience in the auto industry is a plus
