Job Summary
Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on the fleet, including preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Handle tasks such as maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies, with welding depending on location. Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, specifically Cummins and Detroit models, while managing AC and electrical systems. Utilize Cetaris for work orders and ensure all repairs meet major repair standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
