Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet, including preventive maintenance and major repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Duties may include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding depending on location. Requires experience with diesel engines, AC and electrical systems, ability to lift 50 lbs, and owning your own tools. 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred; familiarity with Cummins & Detroit engines and Cetaris work orders; trailer PMs and repairs. Full-time role, Monday–Friday, with 2nd and 3rd shifts; PTO after 90 days; comprehensive benefits and employee resort lodging available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
