Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic opportunity at R+L Carriers Service Center in Hatfield, PA. Responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment, including preventive maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Tasks may include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding depending on location. Full-Time role on 2nd/3rd shifts, with vacation after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package. Strong emphasis on diesel engine maintenance, AC and electrical work, and use of Cetaris for work orders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
- Must be able to handle major repairs
- Experience with AC and Electrical
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs
- Must have own tools
- 2+ Years of Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
- Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
- Experience using Cetaris used for work orders
- Experience in Trailer PMs and repairs
