Job Summary
Service vehicles to meet COF safety and mechanical standards, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and repair major components. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble parts to a high-quality standard while using company-provided scan tools to test components. Ensure vehicle issues are escalated correctly, fill out warranty paperwork when necessary, and participate in the health and safety system. Assist with maintaining a tidy workshop environment and supply your own tool kit. Work weekends and public holidays as required. Required Qualifications
- Full Driver's Licence
- NZ Level 3 or 4 automotive qualification, or the equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in vehicle maintenance
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Must supply own tool kit
Desired Qualifications
- Wheel alignment experience (preferred, not essential)
- Experience with Mercedes Benz, Iveco, Fiat, and Ford light commercial vehicles (advantageous)
- A willingness to learn and grow in motorhome maintenance
