Job Summary
Diagnose and repair full-system automotive issues across electrical, chassis, body, and interior systems. Perform electrical troubleshooting, harness repairs, and network diagnostics including CAN/LIN protocols. Execute sonic welding operations, verify weld parameters, and document results per OEM standards. Conduct bench rework on electronic modules, wiring harnesses, and trim components. Service thermal and fluid systems, including refrigerant recovery and leak detection. Safely troubleshoot high-voltage EV components such as batteries and inverters. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience and ASE xEV certifications. Monday through Friday, 7:30AM – 5:30PM.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician or equivalent
- Proven ability to perform diagnostics and major repairs independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EV systems
- ASE xEV1 & xEV2 A1-A9 certifications
- Applicable sonic welding certifications
- Documented equipment-specific training
- Experience with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing and SMT processes
- Experience supporting automation, robotics, autonomous systems, or aerospace/defense products
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and supplier development activities
- Basic scripting or programming experience
