Job Summary
Repair various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment. Read job cards to determine status and requirements; test equipment to troubleshoot problems; disassemble and inspect components; clean assemblies; note replacement parts; requisition items; replace or repair bearings, gears, motors, clutches, and other components; retest equipment; complete paperwork; operate repair/testing equipment; observe safety protocols; lift up to 50 pounds; assist other shop personnel; perform related duties as directed by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to understand, perform and retain various skill related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by supervisor.
