Job Summary
Perform top-level repairs on ready-mix trucks and small equipment under the Fleet Manager. Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and diesel engines; weld and cut using flame tools; inspect, test, and diagnose malfunctioning machinery; replace faulty parts and electrical components; conduct service calls at other plants or roadside repairs as needed; maintain a clean, safe work area; follow safety policies; provide technical guidance to ready-mix drivers. Requires ability to use hand and power tools, welding/cutting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work 40 hours with overtime as needed. Location: Hutto, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Vocational/Technical certification is a plus
- CDL preferred
- Class A CDL preferred
- Diesel Mechanic experience preferred
