Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including diesel/gas trucks, commercial mowers, and two-cycle tools. Recondition vehicles and equipment twice a year to ensure they meet company image standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for use. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while accurately documenting service and repair records. Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication. Assist with other operational tasks as assigned. This role offers hourly compensation of $25-30, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- A safety-first mindset with a commitment to adhering to safety regulations and promoting safe work practices
- Minimum of one year of hands-on mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment
- Ability to supply personal tools as needed to perform the role
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with diesel engines
