Mechanic – Phoenix, AZ: Maintains mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment throughout the plant to meet safety and operational requirements. Performs preventative, corrective, emergency, contracted, and warranty maintenance; identifies, repairs and documents malfunctions; discusses software problems in PLC for equipment operation with Facility Managers; conducts predictive analysis of systems to update the PM system; ensures completion of work orders on schedule; monitors equipment and documents results; installs and tests new equipment per manufacturer specs and safety procedures; supports company policies; performs general duties to ensure safe, clean, and efficient plant operation; must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in extreme temperatures; uses PPE as required; requires at least 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and experience with hydraulic powered units, PLCs, VFDs, flow meters, transmitters, motors, switch gear; reads blueprints and performs troubleshooting and repair in a manufacturing setting; communicates effectively with team and management.
