Job Summary
Diagnose vehicles and equipment using observational testing and operator feedback, then operate and maintain heavy machinery including dump trucks, dozers, loaders, and excavators during development activities. Inspect and restore fluid levels, lubricate components, clean assigned equipment, and file documentation for all repairs. Test drive repaired vehicles to verify mechanical soundness and create part lists as needed. Maintain equipment records per company policy and perform regular maintenance per manuals. Work in a fast-paced environment, lifting and carrying 50 pounds multiple times per shift, with ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 – 5+ years' experience
- Must supply own tools
- Must maintain a valid US Driver's License with clean driving record
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work safely, with or without supervision
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Lift 50 pounds 2 to 4 times per shift
- Carry 50 pounds 2 to 4 times per shift
- Bending from waist up to 10 times per shift
- Sit for 6 hours per shift
- Stand for 2 hour per shift
Desired Qualifications
- RSO Training preferred
- Class A driver is preferred
- High school diploma/GED preferred not required
- Commercial license preferred not required
- Experience working in construction is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
