Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of construction equipment. Must practice safety rules and utilize hand and power tools effectively. The role involves repairing equipment such as internal combustion engines, air compressors, and pumps, as well as fabricating special attachments and performing welding duties. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and comply with safety protocols and PPE regulations. This position is essential for ensuring quality work according to project specifications and requires teamwork and accountability for tools and materials.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in assembling, setting up, adjusting, lubricating, maintaining, and repairing construction equipment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Must work well as part of a team.
- Ability to fabricate special lifting or towing attachments and hydraulic systems according to blueprints.
- Experience in welding for equipment repair.
Additional Requirements
