Job Summary
Maintenance Technician position at the Freehold, NJ plant. Responsibilities include setting up production equipment to run scheduled production, troubleshooting equipment with machine operators to isolate problems, reading and following technical manuals, documenting changes for traceability, performing repairs and major mechanical overhauls on packaging equipment, performing preventative maintenance, assisting in design modifications, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and GMPs. Requires ability to work overtime or shift changes, stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate effectively in a team. Three shifts are available: 1st (7:30am-4:00pm), 2nd (3:30pm-12:00am), and 3rd (11:30pm-8:00am).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand and walk for periods of time
- Able to lift to 50 pounds periodically throughout the manufacturing shift
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skill set (verbal, written, etc.)
