Job Summary
Perform a variety of mechanical services on auto, light truck, and heavy-duty vehicles, including oil changes, tire alignments, brake replacements, and shock work. Maintain and replace tires as needed, while troubleshooting customer needs and inspecting vehicles for additional maintenance or repair issues. Care for and maintain tools and equipment, keeping the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe environment. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support operations. Requires diesel and passenger automotive mechanical knowledge, ability to use hand tools and alignment machines, and capacity to lift up to 100 pounds. Earn competitive hourly pay ranging from $17 to $25 with eligibility for labor commissions and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel mechanical knowledge/experience
- Passenger automotive knowledge/experience
- Ability to use basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrench and other essential tools
- Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and reach without difficulty. Frequent kneeling and bending over the back
