Job Summary

Analyze work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair, and install electronic and mechanical equipment including engines, motors, and conveyor systems. Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections, scheduling, and plant repairs to ensure continuous operations and maximize equipment availability. Prioritize multiple projects to maintain plant productivity while following all safety regulations and policies. Communicate effectively across various levels to obtain necessary information for accomplishing goals. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic systems, electrical, and pneumatics, with a willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in hydraulic systems, electrical, air conditioning, and pneumatics
  • Previous experience doing preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling
  • Previous welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment operation experience
  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to problem-solve
  • Dedication to maintaining the highest standard of safety in all aspects of the job
  • Must provide own tools
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Ability to pass pre-employment processes, including MVR, criminal background check, physical, and drug screen
  • Willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
  • Working outdoors with exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, and other outdoor environmental conditions
  • Constant standing and walking

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • CDL preferred or ability to obtain a CDL license
  • Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry
