Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for diagnosing, rebuilding, and repairing vehicles and equipment under supervision as needed. Performs inspections and preventive maintenance, completes records and reports accurately, and may perform minor component replacements. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to safety practices, and operate within a team. Daily duties include maintaining equipment reliability, wiring and diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and sometimes traveling to job sites. 40-hour work weeks with potential overtime; ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays; physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds; strong communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to work independently as well as in a team is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months work related skill, knowledge, and hands on experience or vocational training preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess ability to work independently and as a member of team
- Strong physical and mental health
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent travel may be required
