Mechanic Operator

Job Summary
Perform a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and some basic electrical maintenance on production equipment to sustain safe operations, meet production goals, and ensure quality. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing machinery, changeovers, set-up and adjustments on Vision Systems, ink mixing and waste disposal per QA guidelines, oil changes on gear boxes, rebuilding/retrofit of components, installation/validation/decommissioning of equipment, documenting tasks in maintenance logs, sourcing obsoleted parts, supporting CI and safety initiatives, and training new mechanics. Collaborate with Process, QA, and Facilities to resolve problems, participate in improvement projects, and maintain compliance with safety and procedural guidelines; develop technical skills through on-site or off-site trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred in a technical field; minimum 1+ year relevant experience; experience in medical device/pharmaceutical environment preferred; PLC certifications, electrical, mechanical, automation preferred.
