Job Summary
Service and repair products brought to the store, sourcing and ordering parts as needed. Diagnose and repair small engines and equipment while maintaining knowledge of national and private label brands. Clearly explain diagnosis and repair procedures to customers and recognize all safety and security procedures. Complete required reports and forms for work assignments. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience repairing and maintaining small engines
- The skills to clearly explain the diagnosis and repair of the machine to the customer
- The ability to recognize and observe all safety and security procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Fluency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of small engine theory (2 and 4 stroke): lubrication, cooling, ignition and fuel systems
- Certifications in major manufacture brands like Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, etc.
- Extensive experience with electrical systems, plunger driven or axial pressure washer pumps and unloader systems, hydraulic theory, and associated diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Schedule Requirements: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish Language Skills preferred
- Master certification is a plus!
