Mechanic- Night Shift

Test electro-mechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems, disassemble assemblies noting parts identification and condition, and clean equipment using parts washers, steamers, or caustic tanks. Measure for replacement parts, requisition items from the storekeeper, and replace or repair worn mechanical assemblies including bearings, motors, gears, and seals. Retest reassembled equipment for proper output, complete required paperwork accurately, and operate specialized repair tools. Observe all safety procedures, use protective gear, and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds while keeping the work area neat. Assist other mechanics or shop personnel in skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by the supervisor or shop manager.
