Job Summary
Mechanic responsible for repairs and maintenance on waste pickup trucks and support equipment, performing inspections, diagnostic tests, and a range of repairs from minor to major, including powertrain, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; conduct preventive maintenance, test drives, maintain records, follow safety policies, and collaborate with a repair team to diagnose and plan repairs in a warehouse/shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- ASE Diesel Certification an asset
- Specialized Knowledge Required – Including any required certificates, licenses, and registrations
- ASE Diesel Certification preferred
