Job Summary
The Mechanic Manager oversees maintenance operations for Robert’s Hawaii’s Maui fleet, ensuring vehicles are serviced, repaired, and maintained to high safety standards. Responsibilities include leading the Maui maintenance team, coordinating maintenance schedules, monitoring fleet performance, managing repairs and compliance with regulatory requirements. Candidates must have relevant certifications, extensive ASE certifications, a Type 3 License, and experience in fleet maintenance environments. Skills in communication, diagnostics, and basic shop operations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- One year certifications from a college or technical school
- Minimum 6 months to a year working experience in a fleet maintenance and/or shop environment
- Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment/scanner – OBD, Pro-ling
- Minimum five (5) years ASE certificates or Hawaii State Mechanic License
- Must have minimum Type 3 License and able to upgrade to CDL
- Must own hand-tools
- Computer knowledge of basic programs essential – MS Word, Excel, email, etc.
