Job Summary
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, including motors, conveyors, and electrical systems. Replace parts, rebuild machinery, and align components using illustrated manuals. Respond to all maintenance work orders and red lights on the production floor in a timely manner. Conduct inventory control of parts and complete housekeeping duties for work areas. Operate lift trucks safely while maintaining LTO certification. Record activities on PM checklists and participate in training programs. Work flexible shifts including nights or weekends as needed to support operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1-3 years technical training and/or job-related experience
- English proficiency to include reading, writing and following directions
- Ability to count and apply basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, division and multiplication with or without a calculator
- Physical endurance to stand and work in various positions for long periods
- Ability to hear and see with vision abilities in close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
- Earplugs are mandatory in areas designated as Hearing Protection required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain Live Comfortably LTO certification and safely operate all lift trucks (boom, scissor, forklift)
- High level of Reliability to include maintaining good attendance
- May need to work flexible shifts to include nights or weekends based on needs of the business
- Travel Seldom – up to 10%
