Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain farm equipment, trucks, trailers, and other machinery to support daily operations and meet established quality standards. Operate tools and equipment to perform tasks while prioritizing health and safety. Prioritize on-farm tasks as directed, adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and Saturdays depending on production needs. Located in Linkletter, Prince Edward Island, the position reports to the Shop Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
- Driver's License
- Knowledge of farm equipment
- Proficient in using tools and equipment
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Attention to detail lead and ability to maintain high quality work
- Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns
- Flexibility to work on days, evenings and Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Red Seal certification preferred
