Job Summary
Diagnose, examine, and investigate vehicles to determine causes of defective operation for steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and execute major and minor repairs on damaged components. Assist in inventory control and part analysis as necessary. Document all activities in the Fleet Management System while maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This role includes 40 hours weekly with overtime available, starting at $33.80/hour, and offers full benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of at least one (1) to two (2) years of apprentice level verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, which may include high school mechanics courses and/or a regional occupational program
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing
