Job Summary
Diagnose, examine, and investigate vehicles to determine causes of defective operation for steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, electrical, and air conditioning systems. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and execute major and minor repairs on damaged components. Assist in inventory control and part analysis as necessary. Document all activities in the Fleet Management System and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Requires two to three years of apprentice-level training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics. Starting payrate is $38.68/hr with 40-hour weeks and overtime as needed. Full benefits include medical, vision, dental, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of at least two (2) to three (3) years of apprentice level verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, which may include high school mechanics courses and/or a regional occupational program
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing
