Job Summary
Mechanic Level A for Brood Maintenance at Foster Farms, responsible for performing maintenance/repair of equipment, directing subordinate mechanics, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of training, on-the-job and/or formal schooling
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work from a ladder
- Must maintain a California Driver’s License with an acceptable DMV record
- Ability to take after hour calls and job assignments as necessary
- Ability to give direction, lead and train lower level mechanics
- Ability to maintain a pleasant and harassment free work environment
