Job Summary
Service snubbing units in the yard, perform maintenance on diesel engines, mud pumps, and power tongs, and assemble new construction components. Load out jobs, offload equipment, and rig units for testing after servicing. Maintain documentation, update records, and request replacement parts. Assist supervisors in troubleshooting, inspect fleet vehicles and lifting devices, and train short-service employees on proper procedures. Follow all safety rules, participate in risk assessments, and maintain workstation housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a background, physical examination, and drug screen
- Ability to interact with co-workers and rely on common sense to follow written and verbal directions
- Basic ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use different machines and tools; strong understanding of their design and specific use
- Qualified to diagnose and solve general problematic mechanical issues
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to perform work in all types of environmental and extreme weather conditions
- Ability to perform duties with all protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- High School or GED equivalent preferred
