Job Summary
Packing pump bearings, tightening bolts, and re-bushing wheels while inspecting, repairing, and maintaining all transportation and construction equipment. Perform daily checks on fuel consumption and tire inflation, refuel units, and adjust starters and generators. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle issues and handle minor repairs on bodies and fenders. Prepare time sheets, running records, and purchase orders as required. Operate automotive equipment during emergencies or when directed. Requires a Pennsylvania Class A CDL with endorsements, Class 4 or 7 inspection license, and 1-2 years of mechanic experience. First shift 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Oil City, PA location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reside within 40-minute travel time of the service location
- Must possess a Pennsylvania Class A, CDL license with the required endorsements
- Must possess a Class 4 or Class 7 Pennsylvania State Inspection License
- Minimum 1-2 years previous mechanic experience
- Must submit to our pre-employment physical and substance screenings
- Must pass a background investigation, which will include a driver's abstract from Pennsylvania Department of Motor Vehicles
