Job Summary
Mechanic- Industrial responsible for troubleshooting and repairing Industrial Drive products, including disassembly/remanufacturing of Industrial and Rail units, cleaning/painting, creating/modifying work instructions from technical manuals, participating in 5S/LEAN initiatives, performing customer-facing troubleshooting, providing product training, possible field service support, and participation in warranty determinations. Requires reading blueprints/schematics, operating hand/pneumatic tools, and leveraging ERP systems; prior machine-tool experience (grinder/lathe/vertical mill) and knowledge of High Voltage automotive considerations are preferred. Compensation ranges $28.00-$30.00 hourly (annualized to $58,240–$62,400). Benefits include PTO, 401k, health care, holidays, and a collaborative culture.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, PC skills, and ERP experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer systems and skills required
- Knowledge of hand and pneumatic tools required
- Extensive mechanical background and ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints and schematics
