Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and operational support for fleet and mobile equipment across multiple facilities. Maintain and repair electric carts, golf carts, utility vehicles, forklifts, scissor lifts, and material handling equipment, while diagnosing electrical, charging, steering, braking, suspension, and drive system issues. Conduct inspections on batteries, tires, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components, then track work orders through the maintenance management system. Coordinate downtime schedules with internal departments and support event operations by ensuring fleet readiness before, during, and after events. Identify equipment nearing end-of-life and recommend repair versus replacement while managing inventory of repair parts. Follow OSHA safety requirements and work evenings and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school, trade certification, or vocational training in mechanics, automotive technology, industrial maintenance, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining and repairing electric carts, golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, small equipment, or light fleet vehicles
- Experience with battery diagnostics, charging systems, and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience operating and servicing material handling equipment
- OSHA certification
- Forklift and aerial lift certification (or ability to obtain)
