Job Summary
Lead the team in equipment diagnosis and repairs, directing Assemblers to troubleshoot and maintain mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, and utility vehicles. Complete activity-based repairs and service requirements from sales change orders, installing accessories like cameras and lights while adhering to quality standards. Utilize basic computer skills and tools such as multimeters and pressure testers to input findings and maintain inventory accuracy. Work in a manufacturing environment involving extended standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to noise and machinery. Required Qualifications
- 1 year of basic experience with hydraulics, electrical, gas and diesel systems
- Strong math skills
- basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have basic knowledge of DC electricity and hydraulics
- Must have basic print understanding
- Must have basic computer skills and be able to use an iPad or laptop to input findings guided by user friendly programs
- Basic understanding and usage of tools such as Multimeter, pressure tester and analyzer
- Must be able to learn to drive and use a forklift
- Must be able to lift the safe and permissible weight
- Must be able to withstand standing all day and walking long distances
- Must be able to stoop and work at low positions
- Must be able to work overtime and/or 7 days a week
- Regular attendance required
- Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to sustain up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to use tools and equipment
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required
