Job Summary
Mechanic II responsible for performing all required shop duties related to trailer refrigeration repairs and preventative maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, performing front and axle alignments, troubleshooting cooling systems, and reading service bulletins; must be able to read, write, and understand English, maintain tools, complete paperwork, and participate in on-call/shifts with a flexible schedule; requires High School Diploma or GED and ASE PMI certification within 1 year; Class A license preferred; strong mechanical/electrical repair skills and ability to work with a team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current ASE certification in Medium/Heavy Truck Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) within 1 year (T8)
