Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for performing mechanical activities essential for maintaining facility and site operations, including troubleshooting mechanical equipment, performing preventative maintenance, dismantling and assembling machines, and conducting repairs. The role involves tasks such as welding, machining, wood carpentry, and metal fabrication, utilizing precise measuring devices. Additionally, the mechanic will assist in planning work according to specifications, participate in safety initiatives, and manage work order completions using a CMMS. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with preferred qualifications in millwright/mechanic schooling and relevant work experience.
