Job Summary
Perform and assist with care and maintenance programs for landscape, asphalt repair, graffiti removal, playground repair, pressure washing, small engine repair, and chemical treatment. Operate equipment including mowers, blowers, edgers, tractors, and power tools while assuming responsibility for all tools and materials. Drive district vehicles to work sites, maintain parts and inventory, restock supplies, and perform daily safety checks. Execute assigned maintenance work orders throughout the district, exercise independent judgment, and support district initiatives. Requires a valid Georgia driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, and on-call availability for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds frequently and one hundred (100) pounds occasionally
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required
- Walking, standing, kneeling, driving for eight (8) hours per day
- Must be able to climb a thirty (30) foot ladder and negotiate stairs
- Must undergo the required physical examination

- CDL
- Trade/technical license or certification
- Independent judgement
- Managerial skills
- Knowledge in processing paperwork electronically utilizing Word, Excel, and Outlook, Gmail, Google Docs, Incident IQ, etc.
