Job Summary
Conduct safety field operations and administer programs to ensure compliance with policy, governmental guidelines, and contract standards. Investigate accidents, injuries, and hazards to determine root causes and compile data to implement procedures reducing worksite injuries. Lead safety initiatives by developing Job Hazard Analyses, coordinating training programs, and submitting required OSHA reports and annual safety plans. Perform aircraft maintenance including removal, replacement, repair, and modification of systems, while advising departments on regulatory impacts. Submit corrective actions in response to audit findings and provide inputs to government customer concerns.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years' experience in a safety position
- Certified Safety Professional
- Safety Trained Supervisor
- OSHA 30
- AS9100 Auditor
- CDI Qualification
- Tier 3 US Government Clearance
- facility credentials/authorization
- US Citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by Amentum's Safety Program
- Experience as an incident investigator using various techniques to determine root causes
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 US Government Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
- Must possess planning/organizing skills
- Must be able to work under deadlines
- Must be able to operate a computerized based terminal
- Must be computer literate in common software applications
- Must be able to operate general office equipment
- Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions, technical manuals, and/or directives
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
- Must be able to work domestically
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
- Must possess planning/organizing skills
- Must be able to work under deadlines
