Job Summary
Tractor/Trailer Mechanic responsible for inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including semi-tractors, trailers, heavy equipment, and machinery; diagnose and repair hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical components; complete required paperwork; second shift; in-person roles in Grand Rapids, MI and Alpine, MI; candidate should have diesel-mechanic experience (1+ year) and be safety-conscious with strong communication skills and ability to work solo or in a team.
Required Qualifications
- One plus year of related diesel mechanic or related military training
- Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools and techniques used in repairing semi tractors & trailers
- Strong communication skills, effective communicator
- Demonstrated safety consciousness
