Job Summary
Operate packaging machinery, perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs, and execute preventive maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct changeovers, and fabricate machine parts as needed. Verify safety devices, document all challenges, and maintain a clean work area. Prepare lines for daily production and interface with on-line computers. Provide guidance to line personnel and demonstrate leadership on the floor. Work independently with minimal supervision during Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts from 7pm to 7am in Philadelphia.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Entrance level position
- At least 2- (2) year's equivalent experience as a packaging maintenance mechanic, mechanical maintenance mechanic or electrical maintenance mechanic
