Job Summary
Conduct basic repairs, calibration, and maintenance on equipment by completing activity-based service requirements and installing accessories. Lead the team in equipment diagnosis and repairs while directing and assisting Assemblers to improve their troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge. Follow verbal and written work instructions to adhere to quality standards, maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Utilize tools such as multimeters and pressure testers, input findings via iPad or laptop, and maintain inventory accuracy through data entry. Drive and use a forklift, withstand standing all day, and work overtime or seven days a week as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of basic experience with hydraulics, electrical, gas and diesel systems
- Strong math skills
- basic mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Must have basic knowledge of DC electricity and hydraulics
- Must have basic print understanding
- Must be able to learn to drive and use a forklift
- Must be able to lift the safe and permissible weight
- Must be able to withstand standing all day and walking long distances
- Must be able to stoop and work at low positions
- Must be able to use an iPad or laptop to input findings
- Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation
