Job Summary
Disassemble, inspect, repair, test, and reassemble hydraulic pumps, motors, and control valves using precision tools, schematics, and hydraulic test equipment. Diagnose malfunctions by interpreting technical manuals, operating test stands, and performing high-pressure load simulations. Clean components, identify worn parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications while documenting findings and test results in the company system. Collaborate with engineering and parts departments to source upgrades and assist with field diagnostics when needed. Maintain a safe work environment compliant with OSHA policies and log all repair procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in hydraulic system repair or equivalent mechanical repair
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of fluid power systems
- Ability to interpret hydraulic and mechanical schematics
- IFPS Certification (International Fluid Power Society): Hydraulic Specialist (HS)
- IFPS Certification (International Fluid Power Society): Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic (MHM)
- IFPS Certification (International Fluid Power Society): Connector & Conductor Certification
- OSHA 10/30 General Industry
- Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Mobile or Industrial Hydraulics, Fluid Power, or related field
- Field service or mobile equipment repair experience
