Job Summary
HVAC Mechanic at Tessera responsible for installation, diagnosis, service and repair of environmental-control heating and air-conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and laboratory environments. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting using wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints; fabricating/installing ductwork and piping; replacing electrical components; testing motors, compressors, and refrigerant circuits; communicating findings and service updates to customers; coordinating with schedulers and supporting on-call rotations. Requires 0-3 years in HVAC, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, strong customer-service skills, and a valid driver’s license. Location: Silverdale, WA. Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years in HVAC
- Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A valid state driver’s license
- Background check and E-Verify will be conducted
- REAL ID-compliant driver's license or acceptable alternative (e.g., passport or military ID) for installation access
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances and installation access
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
- Ability to perform tasks including bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods
- Comfort with on-call rotations and customer-facing communications
