Job Summary

Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on all plant process and materials handling equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, and production machines. Replace defective parts using hand and power tools, read blueprints and schematics, and initiate purchase orders for parts and tools. Communicate equipment issues to supervisors immediately, suggest improvements in work methods, and complete required paperwork while adhering to OSHA standards, GMPs, and good housekeeping practices. Work a consistent 40-50 hour week Monday through Friday, 1st shift from 5am to 3pm, with occasional Saturday overtime. Earn $27.26/hour after training with company-paid healthcare, 401K match, and seven paid holidays. Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment with temperatures ranging from 110 to -40 degrees.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work pre-scheduled Day or Night shifts
  • Must be able to work in an environment with varying hot (110 degrees) and cold (-40 degrees) temperatures
  • Must be able to get to work independently on time, every day
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes
  • Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions in English with high level of detail
  • Physical requirements: ability to work 8+ hour shifts
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Physical requirements: ability to stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time
  • Physical requirements: ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and engineering drawings
  • Understands and shows the ability to abide by applicable OSHA standards and environmental regulations
  • Ability to observe all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and good housekeeping practices
  • Ability to act with quality, safety, and teamwork in mind at all times

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience or training in manufacturing/food manufacturing or supply-chain environment is preferred
