Job Summary
Inspect company vehicles by diagnosing engine and system problems, performing routine maintenance, and completing necessary repairs on trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Manage onsite tools while changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels. Replace worn parts such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors using manual and computerized diagnostic equipment. Follow checklists to ensure thorough examinations and maintain safe practices throughout all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills required
- Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair
- Willingness to learn and progress as tenure increases
